        Great to hear this idea has started. Technically speaking, it has to be optional as it would need the visitors email address. Also, It should be treated as an insensitive for visitor to provide email information. Something like "if you give us your email address we could send you a transcript of your conversation"

        I would not want this to be an automatic send. It should be something the operator can decide to do, that is send to customer or not.
