Pre-chat - see what other side is typing before they hit enter
there's other chat programs that offer this solution, this is my most desired feature. Before the customer hits enter, we can actually see what they are actually typing so we can have a change to prepare the answer before they hit enter. BEST IDEA EVER.

Templates for answering chats
I would like to see the ability to store and call up template answers in to the chat box to speed up interaction (links, common responses, signagurtes, phone numbers) .

I dont think we should have to pay any extra funds to use the custom CSS
the Boxes that are 'default' are not that nice. But to force users to pay additional funds just to customize the boxes is not right. Why not allow users to create custom boxes online so all users could choose better chat boxes and the community could donate their designs for the benefit of all.

Optional Name and E-mail Entry
I propose that you have an additional setting for Optional Name and E-mail entry on the chat form so that those who would like to do so can and that those who would prefer not to can opt out from doing that. This would also go along well with the transcript idea that you have started developing in that a customer could be enticed to enter this information if they wanted a transcript but could still opt out if it they are uncomfortable listing their information.

There is some great integration with CE already but it would be nice to be able to see the same level of integration as zendesk.

Sound on client side
A little, little, tiny, little sound on client side (web site) when operater send the msg (pling). Someday I want this opt, someday I do not :)

You’re not the only one who’d like to see this! The problem is that it would require Flash in our widget, which we currently avoid. We might do this later, but you can use our API to do it now.

Online / Offline Schedules per Operator
Hi, Adium doesn't have a facility to allow you to specify times when you are shown as available/offline. It would be great if you could specify per operator what times they can be online.
For example... I finish work for the day and leave adium open but forget to sign off from Olark.... The some bloody annoying customer starts pestering me. LOL
SO if I could set lark to allow my operator profile to work between say 9am - 5:30pm and days of the week that would be great!!

Make transcripts sortable by users
Hi there, I am a manager at Humblebundle.com and want to look at all the chats that one user has done but all I can sort by is time.
This would be useful for doing reviews.

Attention grabber
-- Please add an optional time out to remove the attention grabber from the screen
-- "Unbundle" the closing of the attention grabber and the closing of the chat window

Greeter for Offline Messages
For live messaging, the greeter activated we get up to 5x more responses in our website. We would like to see the same functionality for offline messages.

allow me to add more operators without tripling my cost
I'm on the gold plan with 4 operators. If I want to add a 5th, it will triple my cost. Lame.
